Teachers in Action: Lights of Christ Division Supports Our Community Garden
This September, a group of dedicated teachers from the Lights of Christ Catholic Schools Division rolled up their sleeves to make a difference in our community garden.
Hands-on help
Armed with gardening gloves and big smiles, the teachers spent the day weeding, watering, and harvesting. Their hard work ensures that our garden continues to thrive and provide fresh produce for families who need it most.
The community garden is more than just rows of vegetables—it’s a place of growth, nourishment, and hope. Every weed pulled and every vegetable harvested means healthy food on a neighbour’s table. Thanks to volunteers like these teachers, we can keep putting fresh produce into the hands of children, families, and seniors in the Battlefords.

Together, We Grow
When schools, community members, and organizations come together, amazing things happen. Together, we are cultivating not just food, but also compassion and care for one another. 🌿
