Our History

Founded in the 1950s, the Battlefords Empty Stocking Fund (ESF) emerged as a beacon of hope for families facing hardships during the festive season. Over the decades, this initiative has blossomed into a registered charity, extending its reach far beyond Christmas, to establish the Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre (BDFRC).
