The Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre is a non-profit, registered charity. We serve our community through a variety of programs providing food, clothing and other support.
Our Vision & Mission
We uphold the principles of integrity, justice, charity, and compassion, and the dignity of human life. We realize that everyone will be in need at some time, and we commit ourselves to be there to serve. We continue to strive to understand and meet the needs of our donors and clients in the spirit of competence and compassion.
Our History
Since the 1950s, the Battlefords Empty Stocking Fund campaign has collected donations for needy families in the Battlefords. This tradition of giving during the Christmas season has expanded. Today, the Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre operates as a year-round community food bank.
