Share the Warmth: Winter Clothing Recycling Project 2025

The Battlefords District Food & Resource Centre has officially launched the 2025 Share the Warmth – Winter Clothing Recycling Project, inviting the community to donate gently used outdoor winter clothing for children and adults in need. As the cold season approaches, many families struggle to access proper winter wear, and this program helps ensure everyone stays warm and protected through Saskatchewan’s harsh winter.

Last year, generous community donors helped provide winter clothing to over 300 children and adults. With continued support, the program hopes to reach even more families this year. Items such as warm jackets, snow pants, mitts, hats, scarves, boots, and other clean, gently used outdoor clothing are needed and greatly appreciated.

Donations may be dropped off at:
📍 1171 101st Street, North Battleford
📞 For more information, call 306-937-5505

All donated items should be clean and in good condition to ensure they can be safely and comfortably reused by another family.

This initiative is a meaningful way to give back, reduce waste, and help vulnerable members of our community stay warm during the winter months. If you have winter clothing your family no longer uses—especially items children have outgrown—please consider donating. Together, let’s Share the Warmth and make this winter a little brighter for those who need it most.
