MOSAIC Concert Raises Funds for Local Organizations

A sincere thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the MOSAIC concert held on Friday, May 1, in support of the Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre and Catholic Family Services.

The evening brought the community together through music, generosity, and a shared commitment to supporting local programs. With a full house in attendance, the event was a strong reflection of the community spirit that defines the Battlefords.

After expenses, a total of $2,502.60 was raised for the two beneficiary organizations. The Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre received $1,251.30, along with an additional $50 gift card, helping support its work in addressing food insecurity and providing essential resources to individuals and families.

The BDFRC operates without core funding and relies heavily on community donations to continue its services. With Saskatchewan currently experiencing the highest food inflation rates in Canada, support like this is more important than ever.

The MOSAIC performers and organizers extend their heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming support. Events like this highlight what is possible when a community comes together with compassion and purpose.
