2025 Loraas 10th Annual Business Food Drive

We are proud to celebrate a decade of partnership with Loraas through the Annual Business Food Drive in support of the Battlefords District Food & Resource Centre and the Empty Stocking Fund. For ten years, local businesses, schools and charities have stepped forward with generosity, helping ensure families in our community have access to food during the holiday season and throughout the year. We are truly grateful for this ongoing support.

Our 2025 Goal: 10,000 Pounds of Food

Each year, we have set a goal of collecting 10,000 pounds of non-perishable food items.
And while we have come close, in all 10 years we have never yet reached the full 10,000 pounds.

Maybe this is the year we do it—with your help.

As a charity with no core funding, the food we receive during this campaign is essential. It supports the Empty Stocking Fund Christmas hampers, and it also helps the Food Bank continue serving families facing food insecurity well into the new year.

Collection Day – December 18th

On December 18th, the BDFRC truck and Loraas’ festive Santa’s Red Sleigh will be travelling around the community, stopping at participating businesses to pick up collected donations and snap some photos.
