Loraas, in partnership with the Battlefords District Food & Resource Centre (BDFRC), is thrilled to announce the return of the 6th Annual Food Drive across the Battlefords! This heartwarming event brings our community together to fight hunger and support families in need.
Did you know?
🌟 The BDFRC's food programs assist over 2,100 people every month, and half of them are children.
🌟 With the rising cost of living, more families than ever are turning to us for support.
While we operate a year-round food bank, the holiday season brings even more challenges. That’s why we go the extra mile by offering a large Christmas food hamper along with new gifts for children registered through the Empty Stocking Fund (ESF).
Last year, the ESF Christmas Hamper made a huge impact:
🎁 Helped 405 families, reaching nearly 1,200 people in the week before Christmas!
🎅 This year, the food collected during the Loraas Community Food Drive will help us feed thousands of families during Christmas and into the New Year.
